OUR STORY
Level Trade BV is a family-owned trading company built on more than four decades of experience, personal relationships and a genuine passion for quality products.
Our story goes back to 1984, when Louis Vochten founded Votrac, initially focusing on tractors and later expanding into a wide range of heavy commercial and specialized vehicles.
In 1990, at the age of 19, his son Peter Vochten joined the family business. Over the years, Peter became a driving force behind its further development, gaining extensive hands-on experience and building long-standing relationships with customers and partners across international markets, particularly in Africa.
The family story continues with the next generation, Levi and Eline. Their names are also subtly reflected in the name Level Trade: the opening letters of Levi and Eline help form LEVEL, giving our company name a personal connection to the family behind the business, while also reflecting the level of knowledge, experience and quality we aim to represent.
Today, this experience continues through Level Trade BV. Our activities have evolved into two specialized divisions, each very different in nature but built around the same principle:

| EUROPEAN EX-MILITARY VEHICLES Decades of Experience. Trusted Relationships. Our roots remain firmly connected to the vehicle business. Through relationships built over several decades, Level Trade continues to supply selected customers and long-standing partners, particularly in Africa, with high-quality ex-European military vehicles and equipment. We focus on carefully selected vehicles from trusted European sources. Our experience allows us to look beyond appearance or specifications and select vehicles based on what really matters: quality, condition, reliability and suitability for their intended use. We do not aim to offer the largest possible quantity of vehicles. We prefer to offer the right vehicles. Our knowledge of the vehicles, combined with decades of experience in international trade, transport and export, allows us to provide our customers with a personal and reliable service from selection through to delivery. |
| SELECTED PRODUCTS FROM CHINA Tested by Us. Selected for You. Our second activity grew in a completely different – and very personal – way. Over the years, we have sourced various products from China for our own personal and professional use. This gave us the opportunity to discover manufacturers and products that genuinely impressed us with their functionality, quality and value. We don’t believe in selecting a product from a catalogue today and selling it to our customers tomorrow. We want to use it first. Products we consider for Level Trade are purchased for our own use and tested extensively in real-life conditions over an extended period of time. We evaluate their quality, functionality, durability and reliability. Products intended for the European market are also checked for compliance with the applicable European requirements, including relevant CE requirements where applicable. Only after a product has proven itself to us do we consider making it available to a wider public. We know the product. We have used it. And we believe in it. |
